Millard Louis Stamper, Sr.
Millard Louis Stamper, Sr., 75, widow of the late Beverly McMaine Stamper, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, at his home in Paris, KY.
He was born in Letcher County, KY, to the late James and Rhoda Morton Stamper. Millard was a retired farmer, an avid ginseng hunter, deer hunter and was attending the Lexington United Baptist Church.
He is survived by three children, Millard “Chip” (Felecia) Stamper, Jr., Kim (William) Wilson and Zachary (Jennifer) Stamper; eleven grandchildren, Kara Stamper, Kelsey Stamper, Janessa Platt, Timothy Platt, Darrien Wilson, Devin Wilson, Jaymeel Wilson, Christian Wilson, Chase Rader, Morgan Stamper and Mason Brooks; nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Hastel Stamper, Alvin (Wilma) Stamper and Justin Stamper; three sisters, Nancy Stamper, Irene (Harry) Litton and Georgie Reynolds and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Stamper.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Lexington United Baptist Church, 9477 Rockwell Rd., Lexington, KY, by Bro. David Nichols. Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2022, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Stamper, Hastel Stamper, Mike Kerns, Jimmy Kiser, Zack Stamper and Chip Stamper.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Stamper and Buster Caskey.
