Emma Jean Haley Doyle
Emma Jean Haley Doyle, 67, widow of the late Billy Alexander Doyle, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Baptist Health Lexington.
She was born in Paris, KY, to the late Bud Wheeler and the late Daisey Haley. Emma was a retired Social Worker for Community Action, Paris, KY, was a member of the Prodigal’s House and a graduate from the University of Kentucky, where she received a Bachelors of Art degree. She enjoyed reading, scrap booking and bowling in her spare time.
She is survived by one son, Juan (Tamika) Byars; one daughter, Cassandra “Sandy” Byars; five grandchildren, Anovia, Jalen, Brianna, Ciara and Xavier; one great grandchild, Skylynn Taylor; two brothers, Orlando Warren and Frank Chenault; one sister, Roxie Anna Cedeno and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Libby Hutsell, Juanita Wheeler and Annette Franklin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY, by Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey and Rev. Aaron Crumbie.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
