Michael Dan Roe, of Paris, departed this life on March 1, 2022, having attained the age of 40 years. Michael was born on January 29, 1982, in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Danny and Judy Tubbs Roe. He loved the University of Kentucky Wildcats, especially camping out for Big Blue Madness, enjoyed fishing, and coaching youth baseball.
In addition to his parents Danny and Judy, he is survived by two daughters, Michaela Roe (Shawn Bowles), and Katelyn Roe (Christian Tolliver); He is also survived by his sister Jeannie (Branden) Jolly; nephew, Dylan Jolly; niece, Makenzie Jolly; special aunts, Sue (Jim) Hoeft, Shirley Sargent, Teresa Hisle; the mother of his daughters, Melissa Cornelison; and his beloved dog, Shadow. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Ruby Roe, and Mitchell and Effie Tubbs.
The funeral service for Michael Dan Roe will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Bishop John Plummer officiating. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Shawn Bowles, Christian Tolliver, Dylan Jolly, Codie Roe, Frank Harney, Joey Harney, Mason Harney, and Lorne Lawson.
