Jerry Wayne Dennis

Jerry Wayne Dennis, 68, husband of Betty Jo Fryman Dennis, died Saturday March 5, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Corinth, KY to the late Christopher Columbus Dennis, Sr. and the late Goldie Frisby Dennis. Jerry was a retired maintenance employee at Johnson Controls, where he worked for 28 years and was a member of the Revival Tabernacle, Lexington, KY. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening and western shows and movies. Jerry also like classic cars and classic car shows. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jennifer Jo (Jewell Ray) Vest, Ginger Dianne (Bill) Powell and Susan Renee (Randy) Hayes; eleven grandchildren, Joshua Ray Vest, James Anthony Vest, Justin Bryant Vest, Christeen Renee Redden, Samantha Frances Judy, William Drake Powell, Callie Jo Powell, Alicia Dianne Powell, Randy Lee Hayes, Jr., Leah Renee Hayes and Logan Wayne Hayes; eight great grandchildren, Evelyn Jean Vest, Lydia Jane Vest, Silas Garrett Vest, William Thomas Powell, Grayson Ross Powell, Owen Gene Powell, Willow Rosaleen Redden and Ocoee Renee Judy; five brothers, Christopher Dennis, Jr., Ronald Dean Dennis, Russell Dennis, Larry Dennis and Doug Dennis; one sister, Brenda Dennis and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Jessie Thomas Dennis and four sisters, Shirley Faye Dennis, Gale McKinney, Jo Ann West and Deborah Sue Hollon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday March 10, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Pastor Scotty Arnold. Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5-8 PM Wednesday March 9, 2022 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Ray Vest, James Anthony Vest, Justin Bryant Vest, William Drake Powell, Randy Lee Hayes, Jr. and Joey Douglas Fryman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Wayne Hayes, Chester Ray Young, Macy Godman, Christopher Dennis, Jr., Ronald Dean Dennis, Russell Dennis, Larry Dennis and Doug Dennis.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
