Cora Ham Coffey

Cora Ham Coffey, widow of the late James “Red” Coffey and lifelong resident of Millersburg, died on Tuesday, March 29th,2022 at the UK Medical Center. Born to the late Ray Ham, Sr. and Gladys Hinkson Ham on September 5th, 1945, she is survived by her three sons: Daniel (Connie) Dampier, Ronnie (Norma) Dampier, and Mike (Allison) Dampier. She has five grandchildren- Miranda Dampier, Matthew Dampier, Michael Dampier, Peyton Dampier and Emily Dampier along with four step grandchildren – Holly Pennebaker, Jimmy Bond, Jeffrey Bond, and Dalton Gates.
Cora is also survived by her sister Bertha (James) Wagoner and brother Ray Ham Jr. She has numerous nieces and nephews as well. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Charles, Louis, David Lee and Donald Rankin; and two sisters- Mary Hill and Roberta Cook.
Cora was currently employed as the Millersburg City Clerk following a career in banking at the Farmer’s Bank of Millersburg and Fifth Third Bank. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was involved in the Millersburg Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Her favorite activity though was watching her sons and grandchildren at all the sporting events and school activities over the last fifty years.
Funeral services are conducted at 11:00AM Saturday April 2nd, 2022 at the Pruitt Funeral Home, 303 Main Street, Millersburg, KY by Charlotte Tincher and J. P. Wagoner, officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Millersburg Cemetery, Millersburg, KY.
Visitation is from 5-8PM Friday April 1st,2022 at the Pruitt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Steve Rankin, Robert Sosby, Tommy Wagoner, Bobby Tucker, Chad Rankin, Traci Ham Hunter.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland/ Pruitt Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
