Asphalt project scheduled for two routes in Fayette County
Bryan Station Road/KY 1970 and Jack Creeks Road/KY 1975
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 13, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled asphalt project for two routes in Lexington. Alternating lane closures will be necessary for the work to be completed.
Tuesday, June 14 – 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Jacks Creek Road/KY 1975
- base failure (asphalt repairs) will be in effect between milepoints 4.16 (0.103 miles south of Shepherd Lane) and 5.41 (US 25)
- alternating lane closures will allow motorists to pass through the work zone
Wednesday, June 15 – 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Bryan Station Road/KY 1970
- base failure (asphalt repairs) will be in effect between milepoints 0.000 (KY 57) and 3.245 (the Bourbon-Fayette County line)
- alternating lane closures will allow motorists to pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
