Chris Joy Sams Jackson

Chris Joy Sams Jackson, 53, wife of Steven Wayne Jackson died Monday, July 18th, 2022, at the Bourbon Community Hospital Paris, Ky.
A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Agnes Florence Sams. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by eight children, Natasha Clifton, Ryan McKinney, Joann Wills (Coman), Jessica Renee Shrout, Darlene Renee Caldwell, Joshua Caldwell, Christina Michelle Sams and Ashley Clifton; two brothers, Joe Sams and Andrew Hollister; three sisters, Betty Harris, Darlene Sams and Martha (Mark) Miles as well as multiple grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Agnes Carol Sams and four brothers, Samuel Sams, William Sams, Charles Sams, and Arnold Sams: a granddaughter Kaitlynn Ruiz Clifton.
Services were conducted at 1 pm Tuesday July 26, 2022, at the Lusk McFarland Funeral Home 1120 Main Street, Paris Ky. by the Rev. Kyle Sullivan. Burial followed at the Paris Cemetery. Visitation was from 11am Tuesday until the time of service.
Pallbearers were Rolando Ruiz, Natasha Clifton, Jose Corro, Flory Ruiz, Gabriel Ruiz, and Ashley Clifton. Honorary Pallbearers were Jeremiah Clifton and Ryan McKinney.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
