Larry Eugene Cummins
Larry Eugene Cummins, 74, husband of Martha Ellen Grundy Cummins and widower of the late Fran Stone Cummins, died Monday, August 15, 2022, at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.
He was born in Afton, OH, to the late Jesse Cummins, Jr. and the late Frances McDonald Cummins. He was a retired mechanical engineer, having helped design HVAC units for most of his career. Larry was a member of the NRA and the NMRLA (National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association), where he attended many pioneer reenactments and was a member of the Freemasons. He also made muskets and many other items and enjoyed fixing things around the house that needed his attention. He also was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Paris Church of Christ, Paris, KY.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Karen (Allen) Adams; two grandchildren, Faith Victoria Adams and Grace Elizabeth Adams; one brother, Gary J. (Barbara) Cummins; two stepsons, Michael Richard Jason Davis and Kenyon Justin Sprague Davis; three step-grandchildren, Thomas Justin Anthony Davis, Trinity Lyn Davis, and Alexis Marie Davis; one step great-grandchild, Athena Marie Davis, and several cousins.
Funeral services were conducted at 12:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Clay Leonard. Burial followed in the Batavia Union Cemetery, Batavia, OH.
Visitation was from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
