Marylan Sue Redmon Blackwell, 84, widow of the late William Carroll Blackwell, Jr., died Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY.
She was born in Paris, KY to the late Charles E. Redmon, Sr. and the late Louise McFarland Redmon. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts and working in her flower and herb garden. She was also a member of the David’s Fork Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children, Eva Blackwell Hall, James (Karen) Blackwell III, Jennye Lynn Blackwell, and William Carroll Blackwell IV; five grandchildren, Clay Redmon Blackwell, Ty Everrett Blackwell, Casey Hart, Shelby Teel, and Megan Renee Blackwell; one sister, Lynne Redmon and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Redmon, Jr. and Johnny Wayne Redmon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2022, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Peter Stephens. Burial will follow in Clintonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jim Blackwell, William Blackwell, James Blackwell, Ty Everrett Blackwell, Casey Hart, and Shelby Teel.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Dr., Winchester, KY 40391.
