Paula Dean Davis
Paula Dean Davis, 63, died Friday September 2, 2022 at her home in Paris, KY.
She was born in Maysville, KY to the late Anita LaVerne Roberts Davis McDaniel and the late Walthan Dean Davis. Paula was a member of the Trinity Church of God and often watched The River of Life Ministries online church services and was so excited when she accomplished her main goal of accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior through baptism by Pastor Krista Hampton. She also was an avid Facebooker, loved online ordering, donated many pints of blood to help others at the Red Cross and loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Paula enjoyed the companionship of her black poodle, Sammy.
She is survived by one sister, Lana (Tommy) Sargent; special great nephew, Jordan Davis; six nieces and nephews, Jessica (Josh Merideth) Clark, Kaitlyn (Brandon) Isaac, Landon Sargent, Jeff Davis, Jason (Nikki) Davis and John Davis; seven Great nieces and nephews, Joshua Merideth, Laynelee Frost Isaac, Anniston Davis, Kaylishia Davis, Jay Davis, Jayden Davis and Jaylan Davis; special friends, Robin Blades, Wanda Curtis, Judy Roe, Celeste Rice, Dee Cunningham and Lisa Hall and a host of cousins and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Frederick McDaniel; one brother, Jeff Davis; grandmother, Leona Roberts and great grandmother, Elizabeth Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday September 8, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Junior Gross. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday September 8, 2022 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Sargent, Landon Sargent, Josh Merideth, Brandon Isaac, Jason Davis, Jeff Davis, John Davis and Norman Clark.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Davis and Joshua Merideth.
The family would like to thank Bluegrass Care Navigators, Cynthiana, KY for all their help and support during this difficult time.
