Fredna I. Cheek, age 93, of Paris, Kentucky and formerly of Eaton, Ohio and London, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
She leaves behind one daughter, Sherri Cheek & Stacie of Paris, KY; a son-in-law, Rick Foust; three grandchildren, Rick Foust Jr., April Tolle & husband Billy, Jamie Worley & husband Rusty; seven great-grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle), Rikki (Bobby), Stormy (Carrie), Ryver (Scottie), Chase, Hunter, Haven; seven great, great-grandchildren, Tessa, Bexley, Isaiah, Brixlee, Bryxton, Edelle, Erahbella, and one great, great grandchild on the way. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, plus other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Phletus Smith; her second husband, Henry Harrison Cheek; her parents, Charlie and Mamie Loudy Cross; two children, Susanne Cheek (infant), Sharon Foust; one grandchild, Brantley Irvine; five siblings, Ruby Faulkner, Waldemar Cross, Cecil Cross, Kenny Cross, Jimmy Cross.
Fredna was a homemaker, and she attended Weaver Baptist Church in London, KY and Memorial Baptist in Eaton, OH. She loved to quilt, do crafts, and do genealogy. She loved the Lord and her family very much.
Funeral Services for Fredna I. Cheek were held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Smith officiating. Burial followed at Bruner Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
