Edward Thomas Hay, Jr.
Edward Thomas Hay, Jr. 94, widower of the late Irene Ewell Hay, died Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the Fountain Circle Nursing Home, Winchester, KY.
He was born in Clark, County, KY to the late Edward Thomas Hay, Sr. and the late Margaret Haggard Hay. He was a retired farmer, a member of Silas Baptist Church, Paris, KY, and a veteran of the United States Army. Ed enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word find puzzles.
He is survived by two sisters, Peggy (Jerry) Holland and Judy (Thomas) Congleton; one sister-in-law, Alice Hay and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Carl (Jackie) Hay, Gene (Marlene) Hay, Billy Hay and Wheeler Hay and one sister, Ada (James) Wyles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Curtis Coots. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery, Georgetown, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday, November 3, 2022, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hay, Ronnie Hay, Larry Hay, Barry Hay, Jerry Holland and Gary Wilson.
Memorials may take the form of one’s favorite charity.
