Jackie Taylor Strange, 76, widower of the late Brenda Amburgey Strange, died Saturday December 10, 2022 at his home in Winchester, KY.
He was born in Clark County, KY to the late Jesse and Margaret Snapp Strange. Jackie was a retired machinist from L3 Technologies. He loved hot rods and was a great fabricator, having built many hot rods of his own over the years. He was very talented and could build about anything.
He is survived by one son, Chris (Lynn Lacefield) Strange; one grandchild, Sophie Pasley; special friend, Carol Whitlock; one brother, Donald Wayne (Judy) Strange and several nieces nephews and cousins
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Colby Strange; one sister, Sue Wallen and one brother, Larry Strange.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Landmark Baptist Church, 1223 Ironworks Rd., Winchester, KY by Pastor Donald Wayne Strange. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 until the hour of service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Mike Flynn, Charlie Bond, Lloyd Stanfield, Bill Sharpe, Kenny Charles and Billy Rayburn.
Honorary pallbearers will be his Wendy’s breakfast friends and his hot rod buddies.
