Hallie Hughes Earlywine

Hallie Hughes Earlywine, 93, widow of the late Marvin D. Earlywine, died Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY.

She was born in Carlisle, KY to the late Hubbard and Ella Hill Hughes.  Hallie was a retired machine operator at Hansley Mills, nurses aid and also retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot.  She was a member of the Central Baptist Church for several years.

She is survived by daughter Brenda (Gayle) Sosby and their family;  grandchildren, Tony (Brenda) Sosby and Wendy Flynn; great grandchildren, Andrew Flynn (Katelynn Edwards), Robbi Lynn Sosby (Michael Hatton) and Amber (Jeff) Cuzick; great great grandchildren, Kendrick and Colley Hatton, Angie Hatton, Brandy Sosby (Jordan Richmond), Lakyn Sosby and Kailey Benton (Richard Pence); great great great grandson, Waylon Dale Sosby.

She is also survived by daughter, Phyllis Haggard and her family.  Grandchildren, Brenda (Jerry) Mann, Timothy Haggard and Jamie (Darrell) Glass; great grandchildren, Misty Baker, Mandy (Eric) Hudson, David (Marquetta) Haggard, Jeffrey Haggard, Kira Weaver, Sarek Weaver (Trish Livingood) and Riker Weaver; great great grandchildren, Abigail Adams, Ethan Adams, Eli Roach, Reese Hudson, Quinn Hudson, Lilly Haggard, Briana Haggard and Ezra Murphy.

Hallie had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that survived her including special friends, Kay and Tommy Million, Linda Snapp, Jane Jolly and all her friends at Bourbon Heights.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by all her siblings, Mary Borland, Rose Smith, Wilma Giles and Hubbard Hughes, Jr.; an infant daughter, Ruth; grandsons, Robbie Sosby and Jeff Haggard; great grandson, Brent Sosby and a special nephew, Ricky Hughes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday December 28, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Jonathan Graves.  Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday December 28, 2022 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Flynn, Josh Smith, Timmy Haggard, Donnie Lemons, Michael Hatton and Sarek Weaver.
