William Nichols “Nick” Ardery

William Nichols “Nick” Ardery, age 72, of Lexington, a retired supervisor for Kentucky Utilities, husband of Charlesetta Brown Ardery died Monday, January 2, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 19, 1950 in Versailles, son of the late Lafe and Myra Nichols Ardery and was a 1969 graduate of Bourbon County High School. Nick was a 46 year member of Bryan Station Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, trustee, song leader, and Sunday School superintendent. His favorite things to do were sitting on the front porch enjoying God’s creation and working in the yard and garden with lots of flowers.
Nick is survived by his wife, Charlesetta; three sons, Christopher Ardery, Jeff (Kelley) Ardery, Jeremy Ardery (Heather Combs); grandchildren, Chase, Kiley, Blakely, Payton, Presley, Landry, William, Quinn, Christian, and Lilly Ardery; and a great grandson on the way, Dawson Brent Ardery. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Michael Ardery; and a sister, Cynthia Shaw.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a service at 12 noon officiated by Pastor Brent Spears. Interment in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeff Ardery, Christopher Ardery, Jeremy Ardery, Chase Ardery, Larry Anderson and Phillip Preston.
