David Gordon Hill

David Gordon Hill, 61, husband of Mae Kiser Hill for 44 years, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
A native of Bourbon County, he was the son of Eugene Hill, Sr. and the late Josephine Ritchie Hill. He retired from Runnymede Horse Farm, where he was the assistant manager. He loved playing with his grandbabies, mowing, motorsports, and building trucks. He was a member of the Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by four children, David Gordon Hill, Jr. (Tiffany Leggett), Johnny Hill (Cassie), Ashley (James) Jones, and Amber (Casey) Jones; seven grandchildren, Landon Chase Hill, Caitlyn Jones, Courtney Jones, Brandt Hill, Luke Jones, Emma Jones, and Peyton Jones; two sisters, Connie Tapp and Joann Hill; one brother, Eugene (Holly) Hill, Jr.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jaime Hill.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2023, at Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church, 150 Skyview Drive, Paris, KY by C.J. Murray. Burial was in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5-8 PM Sunday, January 22nd at the church.
Pallbearers were Johnny Hill, David Hill, Jr., Landon Hill, Eugene Hill, Jr., James Jones, and Casey Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Ethan Hill and David Jones.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
