Jackie Clay Clough

Jackie Clay Clough, 74, died Friday January 20, 2023 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY.

She was born in Paris, KY to Lillie Frances Puckett Bowman and the late Raymond Clay Mitchell.  She was the owner/operator of Pied Piper Day Care, which was the first childcare facility in Paris.  Jackie loved to Karaoke, work in her yard making sure she did not have any weeds and was always ready to head to Florida, to enjoy the ocean and the beach.

She is survived by her mother, Lillie Frances Puckett Bowman, three children, Timmie (Penny) Faircloth, Wendy (David Lyons) Faircloth and Jackson Clough; three grandchildren, Ashley Faircloth, T.J. Faircloth and Jasper Bowen; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Bonnie Bowman, Charlotte Dotson and Cheryl (Jerry) Harrison; two brothers, Ray Mitchell and Scott Mitchell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one grandson, Travis Faircloth and one sister, Gail Johns.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday January 25, 2023 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Donovan Stewart.  Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday January 25, 2023 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Harrison, David Lyons, Andy Rookard, Jasper Bowen, Jason Harrison and Tyler Link.
