Ruth Anna Toomey Martin

Ruth Anna Toomey Martin, 84, widow of the late Everett Martin, Died Saturday January 28, 2023 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY.
She was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late William Earl and Jenny Christine Blackburn Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clays Mill Baptist Church, Lexington, KY. Ruth loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and enjoyed taking long walks.
She is survived by two children, Bonnie Sue Martin and Alvin Dale Martin; three grandchildren, Kayla Martin, Brandon Younger and Nicholas Martin; six great grandchildren, Micky Adams, Laylynn Adams, Amiya Younger, Lennox Younger, Axel Hugh Younger and Caitlyn Barnett; one step great granddaughter, Alayah Littrell; two brothers, Harold Allen Toomey and William “Bill Toomey, Jr.; one sister, Betty Lou Conyers; special cousin, Connie Haye and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lakeysha Martin; one great grandson, Killian Younger and one brother, Carl Wayne Toomey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday February 2, 2023 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Pastor Jeff Fugate. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday February 2, 2023 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Younger, Alvin Martin, Don Adams, Bruce Goodwin, Luke Hurt, Earl Hurt and Micky Adams.
