Gary Wayne Adams

Gary Wayne Adams, 71, widower of the late Rita Mae Smith Adams, died Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the Robertson County Health Care Facility, Mt. Olivet, KY.
A native of Bourbon County, KY, he was the son of the late Eula Townsend Jones. He was a former machinist with Johnson Controls and attended the Paris Church of the Nazarene, Paris, KY.
He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Hollon; one son, Kevin (Jessica) Adams; eight grandchildren, Levi Hollon, America Adams, Boston Adams, Jeremy Barnett, Tabithajo Vance, Jessicajo Rarick, Kayla Dixon, and Jordan Barnett; several great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Marcus (Melissa) Barnett and Jeffrey (Lisa) Barnett; two brothers, Vernon (Sue) Adams and Don Adams; one stepbrother, Terry (Judy) Jones and one stepsister, Latitia (Buddy) Corum.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lula Ann Gross Wagner, Marjorie Gross Pryor Campbell, and Rebecca Dale Gross Wilder, and one brother, Kelly Adams.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Vernon Adams. Burial took place at the Jacksonville Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday, February 16th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Barnett, Jordan Barnett, Clinton Townsend, Cory Townsend, Levi Hollon, and Jeffery Hollon.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Paris Church of the Nazarene, 450 Houston Ave., Paris, KY 40361, or to the Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
