Davion Thomas Griggs
Davion Thomas Griggs, born on August 25, 1992, to Donzetta (Marcus) Ashford and David Griggs Jr., passed away on April 23, 2023, leaving his family and friends heartbroken. He was a cherished son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him.
Davion graduated from Paris High School in 2011, where he played football & basketball all four years. He was a talented athlete and brought his all to every game. His passion for sports was evident to all who watched him play.
Davion was a devoted member of the The Prodigal’s House, where he found solace and guidance in his faith. His unwavering commitment to his beliefs was an inspiration to all who knew him.
However, Davion’s greatest joy in life was his two sons, Channing and Dash Griggs. They were the light of his life, and he loved them more than anything. He was a doting and loving father, always there for them whenever they needed him.
Davion had a contagious sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was a loyal friend and always had a smile on his face. He had a big heart and was willing to help anyone in need. He was the oldest of his siblings, but he was also the biggest baby of them all. He loved to joke around and was always the life of the party.
Davion’s sudden passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his parents, his sons, his siblings, his friends, and the entire community. His kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones will never be forgotten.
