Nicholas “Nick” Clark Hughes, 38, husband of LaTosha Lynnette Johnson-Hughes, died Sunday May 7, 2023, at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville, KY.
He was born in Maysville, KY to Gerald and Tina Clark Hughes. Nick was a Master Electrician for InPwr, Inc. of Indiana. He graduated from Mason County High School in 2003 where he excelled in sports, especially football, where he was the team’s quarterback.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, LaTosha Lynnette Johnson-Hughes; parents, Gerald and Tina Clark Hughes; one son, Shane; one brother, Chris (Sherri) Hughes; one sister, Katie Hughes; maternal grandparents, Ruth and Rutherford Clark; mother-in-law, Tamara Johnson; seven nieces, Alexxa, Kinsley, Nikko, Breon, Nylah, Aniyah and Arayna; six nephews, Zachery, George, Jackson, Colton, Braxton and Kyran and a host of cousins and frineds.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jack and Evelyn Hughes.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday May 15, 2023, at the Moore and Parker Funeral Home, 303 East Maple Leaf Rd., Maysville, KY 41056 by Bro. William Martin and Sis. Lola Garr. Burial will follow in the Weedonia Cemetery, Maysville, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Monday May 15, 2023, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be George Purden, Zachery Hughes, Shane Morgan, Renardo Hawkins, Ashley Brown, Scotty Reese and Robert Madden.
The honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Clark.
