Bobby Gene Nichols

Bobby Gene Nichols, 67, husband of Barbara Maybrier, died Friday July 7, 2023, at his home in Paris, KY.
He was born in Cynthiana, KY to the late George Bernard Nichols and the late Dorothy Blanch Lemons Butler. Bobby was a long time Bourbon County farmer having raised tobacco and cattle for many years, he enjoyed his cattle, going to the stockyards and talking tobacco with family, friends and fellow farmers.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Maybrier; two daughters, Jacquelene Adwell and Shauni Nichols; three grandchildren, McKenzy Adwell, Nadia Adwell and McCoy Adwell; two sisters, Ramona (Tinnie) Graves, Robin (Michael) Mullins; one brother, Jack Nichols; sister-in-law, Debi Nichols; grand dog, Charlie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Roger Clay Nichols.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday July 13, 2023, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial will follow in the Clintonville Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5-8 PM Wednesday July 12, 2023, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Maybrier, Timmy Maybrier, Joe Johnson, Doobie Shannon, Darrell Kelley and Nathan Mullins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Brooks, Tommy Maybrier and Jordan Mullins.
