Larry Lee White, Sr.

Larry Lee White, Sr., husband of Kathy Sanders White of Paris, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 69 years. Larry was born on June 5, 1954, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, the son of the late Thomas Luther White and Helen Delores McCarty White, attended Bourbon County Schools, a former employee of Stoner Creek Stud, and retired from Kentucky Textiles where he had worked as a cutting room supervisor. During his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Joe White, sister, Linda Kay White, and grandson, Quentin Hager.
In addition to his wife Kathy, he is survived by two children, Larry (Carrie) White, Jr., Whitney Catherine (Mike) Hager; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, three sisters, Kim (Danny) Berryman, Sandra Cannon, Teresa McCoy (Phillip Thompson); and a brother, Scotty Gilbert. Also surviving is a stepfather, Cedric Gilbert; a “special son” Randall Scott White; special friends, Billy Elam, and Ronnie “Chicken Man” Jones.
The funeral service for Larry Lee White, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with interment in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers are Scotty Gilbert, Billy Elam, Clyde McCoy, Kevin McCoy, Billy Ritchie, and Jacob Cada. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time for the service. www.hintonturner.com
