Shirley Faye Doyle Jefferson

Shirley Faye Doyle Jefferson, age 84, widow of Daniel Owens Jefferson, departed this life on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Bourbon Community Hospital. Shirley was born in Paris, Kentucky, on June 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Roy and Norma Clark Doyle, was a 1957 graduate of Paris High School, a retired secretary from the contracting business, and a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She remained in contact with her high school classmates by collecting money for their reunions and flowers. In addition to her parents, and husband Daniel, of 63 years, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jones.
Surviving is a niece, Laura (Lee) Johnson; a nephew, Kevin (Sarah) Jones; a great niece, Shelby Johnson; and two great nephews, Alex (Mahsa) Johnson, and Drew (Jenna) Jones. Also surviving is a great great niece, Addison Claire Jones; cousins, Frances Jane Duncan, June King; and her special dog, Luke.
A private service was held for Shirley Faye Doyle at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Celebrant Sharon Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Lee Johnson, Kevin Jones, Alex Johnson, Drew Jones, Jon Beaton, and Ron Mingua.
