Virgaleen Sorrell Worthington

Virgaleen Sorrell Worthington born April 1, 1935, died July 20, 2023. Born in Bath County to the late Palmer and Minnie White Sorrell. She was educated in the Nicholas County Schools, was a former employee of Jerry’s, Rails End Restaurant, Jockey, Ken’s Supermarket, and was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Paris, KY.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul David Feeback and Kenneth Eugene Feeback; one grandson, Aaron Preston Feeback and a great grandson Jackson Clayton Conkright.
She was survived by three children, Terry Preston Feeback, Robert “Bobby” (Norma Jean) Scott, and Edna “Sissy” Yazell; five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, one step grandchild and two step great grandchildren. Also, special friends, Francis Druen, Hazel Cline, Ruby Smart, and Don Green.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bourbon Community Hospital, Hospice of the Bluegrass, and the nurses, CNAs, and other employees of Bourbon Heights.
Services were conducted at 1:00 PM Monday July 24, 2023, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Ron Hupp. Burial followed in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation was from 11:00 AM Monday July 24, 2023, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Perry Feeback, Terry Feeback, Mark Scott, Robert Sheeler, Cam Kenimer and Johnathan Graves.
Honorary Pallbearers were Tommy Baker, Francis Druen, Hazel Cline, and Ruby Smart. Burial was at the Paris Cemetery.
The arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
