Margaret Delaney Frazier Chenault

Margaret Delaney Frazier Chenault, 70, wife of Mitchell Ray Chenault, Sr. for 49 years, died Wednesday July 26, 2023, at her home in Georgetown, KY, surrounded by her loving and caring family.
She was born in Georgetown, KY to the late George Frazier and the late Edna Crittenden Nichols. She was retired, having worked at Clark Equipment, Square D, IBM and CMC. Margaret was an avid bowler, she was in many leagues over the years at Bourbon Bowl and Joyland Bowl. She also loved bingo, music, dancing and all sports.
She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Ray Chenault, Sr.; two daughters, Michelle Chenault and Markisha Chenault; four grandchildren, Bryyonna (Domonique) Robinson, Reon Chenault, Z’Khariya Champs and Dahntaye Champs; four great grandchildren, Jamari Mahan, Aleia Chenault, Jaiona Mahan and Aundraya Cornett; three sisters, Joyce Nichols, Pam Landrum and Gwen Young; two brothers, Carl (Daphne) Lewis and William (Donna) Nichols, Jr.; Bonus daughter, Pamela Thames; sisters in law and brothers in law, Katherine Parker, Mike (LaJava) Chenault and Ron (Joyce) Chenault and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Ray Chenault, Jr.; Stepfather, William Nichols, Sr.; brother, Corneil Frazier and great grandchild, Jhaniya Mahan.
Funeral services were conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday August 2, 2023, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Tony Gooch. Burial followed at the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation was from 10:00 AM Wednesday August 2, 2023, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Kevin Chenault, Marcus McIntyre, Doryae Cunningham, Harry Nichols, Demetric Goode and Marcus Champs.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Roberta Allison and staff, Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, Georgetown Community Hospital and Bluegrass Care Navigators.
