Tina Marie Hooper, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, at the age of 62 in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Born on June 6, 1961, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Tina’s life was a testament to the power of caring and compassion.
Tina’s early years in Jeffersonville laid the foundation for a life filled with love and service. She dedicated her career to the home health industry, where she touched the lives of many with her thoughtful nature and unwavering support. Her work was not just a job; it was a calling that she fulfilled with grace and dedication.
Her family was the center of Tina’s world. She is survived by her adoring son and daughter-in-law, David and Crystal Hooper, and her loving daughters, April Baker and Jessica Holmes. Tina’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Sarah Minton, Maddison Minton, Anthony South, Kyle South, Peyton South, Deven Hooper, Logan Hooper, and Noah Hooper, who will carry forward her spirit of generosity and kindness. She also leaves behind her sisters, Cathy Forbes, Betty Helbig, and Debi Cleaver, who will miss her deeply. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Ross Sparrow, who instilled in her the values of family and love.
Tina’s interests brought joy not only to her but also to those around her. She was an avid bowler, a bingo enthusiast, and enjoyed the thrill of playing slots. These activities were more than hobbies; they were avenues through which she formed lasting friendships and shared countless laughs.
Those who knew Tina would describe her as loving, kind, and thoughtful. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. Her presence was a comfort to those in need, and her actions were a reflection of her generous heart.
