Veronica Yvonne Pitts Christopher

Veronica Yvonne Pitts Christopher, affectionately known as Veronica, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Paris, Kentucky, on April 22, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on May 24, 1970, to the late William Roger Pitts, Sr. and Glenda Sue Woolums Pitts, Veronica’s life was a testament to the power of love and selflessness.
Veronica’s legacy is carried on through her beloved children, son Josh Pitts and his wife Britni, and daughter Brittany (Cody Risner) Christopher. She was the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Drake, Shelbie, Landon, Gunnar, Ryder, Mavryck, Hudson, and Wrenley, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her devoted brother, Roger Pitts and his wife Valerie, her sister Gwen Kissick and her husband Billy, and her special friends, Larry (Pam) Gray and James Marshall Christopher and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Veronica was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Tammy Pitts. Her career as a self-employed cleaning service provider was marked by the same dedication and care she gave to her family. Those who knew Veronica will remember her for her loving nature and selfless spirit, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Veronica’s life was a beautiful example of love in action. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her warmth and kindness will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday April 26, 2024 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Thursday April 25, 2024 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
