Glenda Marlene Rinehart
Glenda Marlene Rinehart, formerly of Greenfield, entered eternal peace on May 4, 2024 after a seven-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Troy “Joe” Rinehart, who preceded her in death on April 25, 2014.
Glenda was born February 9, 1934 in Alger, Ohio. She was the youngest of Ralph and Isa Mae Streets’ eight children. She was the Salutatorian of the 1952 graduating class at Stockbridge High School and retired from National Bank and Trust in 1995.
Glenda is survived by five children, Denise Beers of Leslie, Michigan, Joseph (Sandra) Rinehart of Wilmington, Ohio, Dorothy (Gregory) Ramsey of Wilmington, Ohio, Lisa (Mark) Matthews of Paris, Kentucky, and Scott (Susan) Rinehart of Leesburg, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Tabitha (Richie) Bradford, Billy Beers, Josh (Olivia Wisecup) Rinehart, Kyle (Casey) Rinehart, Nicole Tinsley, Elizabeth Rolison, Jeff (Liza) Deaton, Mitch Deaton, Taylor Matthews, Daphne Green, and Garrett (Brie) Rinehart; and twelve great-grandchildren, Ada Bradford, Henry Bradford, Fiona Powell, Ashley Rolison, Natalie Rolison, Grace Deaton, Tripp Deaton, Mila Deaton, Landon Kingery, Kaylee Green, Oliver Rinehart and Victoria Rinehart.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy; her grandson, Keenan Troy Rinehart; great-granddaughter, Audrey Elizabeth Deaton; and son-in-law, Milo James Beers.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice as Glenda dearly loved animals and adopted almost every stray that crossed her yard.
Glenda’s family is eternally grateful to and thanks the staff of the Memory Care Unit at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington Court House for their excellent care and support.
