Mary Mae George

Mary Mae George, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Born in Jamestown, Kentucky on June 6, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Rueben Sr. and Lula Mae Brockman George. She was a retired factory worker and a custodian at Red Roof Inn.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy (Billy) Conn of Winchester; sons, Gene Roy of Paris, Ricky Roy of Lexington, Roger (Billie) Roy of Richmond; grandchildren, Tonia Howell, Shawn Roy, Samantha Brown, Brittany Conn, Tiffany Conn; great grandchildren, Kaylin, Maddox, Layla, Sylas, Liam, Robee; as well as three sisters, two brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Roy, two sisters, two brothers, Herman Roy, Becky Roy, Troy Conn and Angel Rose Roy.
Service were held at 12:00pm on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Bishop Paul George. Burial followed at Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers were family and friends.
Visitation was at 10:30am until the time of service.
