Rylie Faye Fryman
Rylie Faye Fryman, a beacon of love and courage, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, in Lexington, KY, at the tender age of seven. Born on December 13, 2016, to Allen and Mary Alison Plummer Fryman, Rylie was a cherished daughter, a beloved sister to Ryan and Ryder, and a treasured member of an extensive family that adored her.
Rylie’s early departure from this world leaves behind her loving parents, her protective brothers, and her devoted grandparents, Johnny and Angela Plummer, and Rhonda Fryman. She was a shining light in the lives of her great-grandparents, Jerome and Charlotte Harney, Meredith and Judy Skinner, and Helen Switzer Nickerson. Her aunt, Ashley Fowler, alongside her husband Jacob, and her uncles, John Plummer with his wife Lynda, and Justin Fryman, will hold her memory close, as will her numerous cousins who were blessed to know her. Rylie now joins her late grandfather, Tony Fryman, in eternal peace.
Rylie’s life, though brief, was filled with the joy of simple pleasures. She loved nothing more than spending time with her mom and dad, and her two brothers, who were her steadfast playmates and guardians. Her smiling was a frequent and welcome sight in the Fryman household, especially during family snuggles, a cherished ritual that brought comfort and closeness to them all.
Music was a constant source of delight for Rylie; it was the melody that accompanied her life’s journey. She found excitement in the roar of engines while watching drag racing with her dad, and she shared in the family’s passion for Oregon Ducks Football, cheering alongside them with an infectious enthusiasm that could light up any room.
Rylie’s legacy is one of love and courage, two words that perfectly encapsulate her essence. She faced each day with a bravery that inspired everyone she met, and her love was a boundless force that knew no limits. Her spirit, a blend of tenderness and tenacity, will continue to guide and influence her family, reminding them of the preciousness of each moment shared.
As we bid farewell to Rylie Faye Fryman, we celebrate the profound impact she made in her short time with us. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories told and the lives she touched. Rylie’s journey on earth has concluded, but her story—written in the hearts of those who loved her—will never end.
Please wear your favorite shade of purple in memory of Rylie.
