James David Stamper
James David Stamper, a cherished soul known for his loving nature and selfless spirit, entered into eternal peace on November 11, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on October 24, 1977, to Pearl Christine Sigley and Hastel Dean Stamper Sr., James’s early years laid the foundation for a life marked by kindness, friendship, and an exceptional ability to connect with everyone he met.
James’s heart of gold shone brightly through his actions and the warm smiles he shared freely. His friendly demeanor meant that he never met a stranger, and his selflessness was evident in every aspect of his life. As a skilled carpenter and a jack of all trades, James could fix anything that came his way, a testament to his resourcefulness and desire to help others.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his parents, Pearl Christine Sigley and Hastel Dean Stamper Sr.; his siblings, Tabatha Stamper, Melonie (John) Stamper Walters, Hastel Dean (Sheila) Stamper Jr., and Jennifer (Darrell) Brooks. His legacy will live on through his adored daughters, Alyssa Ranee Stamper and Arianna Brooke Irvin, and his cherished grandchildren, Xain Eric Stanley and Xailey Ranee Stamper. James held a special place in his heart for his nephew Sheldon Walters, who, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, will miss him dearly.
Preceding him in death are his brother, Robert Dean Stamper; sister, Fallon Stamper; grandparents, James and Rhoda Stamper, Allen and Maggie Powell, Robert Samuel Wilson; and his stepfather, Wayne Sigley. Each of them played a significant role in his life and helped shape the man he became.
James’s life was a reflection of his values—love, friendship, and selflessness—and he will be remembered for the warmth and light he brought into the lives of those around him. His memory will be held close in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
