Betty Marlene Allen

Betty Marlene Allen, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2026, at the age of 67 in Paris, Kentucky. Born on June 13th, 1958, in Frankfort, KY, Betty grew into a woman whose warmth and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
Betty’s life was one of loving dedication to her family. She leaves behind an adoring family: two children, Shannon Ritchie and Timothy (Reagan) Stamper; five cherished grandchildren, Katie Ritchie, Brittany (Aaron) Milyard, Presley Ritchie, Amiri Ritchie, and Anna Kincer; and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Pamela, and Jackson, who will miss her deeply. Her brother, Steve (Dianna) Allen, will remember her fondly, as will her special niece, Christina (William) Kearns. A myriad of nieces, nephews, and cousins also mourn her passing. Betty now joins her parents, Lockford Gene and Catherine Amelia Dickerson Allen, as well as her brothers, Robert and Freddie Allen, in eternal rest.
Throughout her lifetime, Betty cultivated countless friendships and gave her time generously. Her best friend, Tracy Hamm, will carry cherished memories of their time together. Betty dedicated many years of loyal service to the Bourbon Community Hospital Cafeteria, touching the lives of those she worked with and served. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence and she was an active and beloved member of Hatcher’s Creek Church of God in Stanton, KY.
Betty’s Christian faith was the compass by which she lived her life. It inspired her to be a loving and kind person, characteristics that defined her. She cherished time spent with her family and friends above all else and was happiest when surrounded by their company. Betty also found pleasure in simple joys: she enjoyed shopping, loved watching old TV shows, and found great comfort and strength in attending church services.
Her absence will be felt acutely by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Betty Marlene Allen will be remembered fondly as a woman who spread love wherever she went and whose kindness left an indelible imprint on the hearts of many. Though she has passed from this earth, her legacy of love and the memories shared with her will endure forever.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
