Bobby Ray Gibson, aged 71, a lifelong resident of Kentucky, passed away peacefully in Cynthiana, KY, on February 15, 2025. He was born on May 11, 1953, in Millstone, KY, to the late James Gibson and Evelyn Burchum Gibson. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Bobby’s loving spirit and courageous heart shaped the lives of all who knew him.

Bobby shared years of marriage with his beloved wife, Andrea Lutter Gibson. He cherished his seven children: Melissa, Sylvia Livingood, Crystal, Bobby Jr., Scott, Taylor, and Abigail Gibson. His joy magnified as a grandfather to Maggie Fryman, Zeke, and Logan Livingood, Branson, and Mikey Bunce. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Baldwin; his sister, Rose Sexton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry forward his legacy of kindness.

Professionally, Bobby was known for his strong work ethic. Over the years, he was a proud coal miner, a long-distance truck driver, and a skilled HVAC technician. His career was marked by dedication and excellence that earned him respect in every field.

Those who knew Bobby will remember a man marked by selflessness, always putting others before himself. He thrived on every moment spent with his family and shared his warmth and wisdom generously. Amidst life’s challenges, Bobby’s courage was an inspiration to many.

Predeceased by brothers Pat, Jessie, and Roderick Gibson, Bobby’s memory will be a beacon of love and strength for all who had the privilege to feel his influence. He departs this world but leaves an indelible imprint on the hearts of his loved ones.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
