Amy Lashea Allen

Amy Lashea Allen, age 33 years, of Paris, KY passed away March 21, 2025 in Lexington. Amy was born at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY on September 18, 1991. Amy is survived by her father Charles Allen, mother Vearlene Allen, Brothers Mark (Vicki) Allen and Timothy Scott Allen, niece Aria Allen, nephew Clayton Allen, Lisa Ivy-Cotter and her family Andy, Bradford, Brent, Allen Ivy, her cat Latte, Nicole Creech, and a host of other family and friends.
Amy earned her Associates of Arts degree from Maysville Community & Technical College (MCTC) in Cynthiana, KY and was an active member of the Literati Club at MCTC. Amy worked as a telemetry technician at UK Healthcare. Amy volunteered part-time at the Bourbon County Public Library and Friends of The Library program during her course of illness with pulmonary hypertension. Amy was involved with the UK Healthcare pulmonary hypertension support group.
Amy was very creative and had a variety of interests including building puzzles, playing the ukulele, video gaming, reading, and creating therapeutic videos on her YouTube channel.
Amy’s celebration of life will be held at the University of Kentucky Charles T. Wethington Jr. Building (CTW) Room 127 on April 5, 2025, 1:30-4:30 PM.
