Darryl Wayne True

Darryl Wayne True, 64, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born in Kenton County on October 26,1960, to the late William Archie and Louise Williams True. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray True.
Darryl is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda Gail Kearns True; sons, Joshua Wesley (Kayla) True, and Brandon Wayne True; brothers, Roger Thurman (Debbie) True, and Ronnie Glenn (Sylvia) True; sister, Debbie (Keith) Willoughby; and grandchildren, Brayden True, Korbyn Blake True, Brooklynn Sowder, Khloe True, Matthew Sowder, Madilynn True, Blakely True, and Lillian True.
A funeral service for Darryl took place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation the evening before on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Bro.Timothy Pierce and Bro.Keith Willoughby officiated the service. Burial was at Battle Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers included Mark Sadler, Larry Laytart, Jimbo Davis, Jay Schweitzer, Eric Yearsley, and Korbyn True. Honorary pallbearers were Darryl’s grandchildren.
