Shaun Damon Stamper

Shaun Damon Stamper, 47, passed away on July 11, 2025, in Lexington, KY, Born on January 26, 1978, in Paris, KY.
Shaun spent most of his life as a carpenter working on many homes in central Kentucky, He enjoyed time at the lake boating and fishing and cheering for his favorite sports teams, the University of Kentucky and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Shaun is survived by his mother and stepfather Mary Ann Buchanan Grant and Wayne Grant; two children, Chanel Kiann True and Kaden Keshaun True; two grandchildren, Emerson True and Carter True. Three sisters, Tabatha Renee Stamper, Melonie Ann (John) Walters, and Tammy Smith, and one brother, Hastel Dean (Sheila) Stamper, Jr.
He will be missed by his nephew, Sheldon Walters, who he shared a close bond with, along with many other nieces, nephews, who will always remember their “Uncle Shaun”.
Shaun was preceded in death by his sister, Fallon Nicole Stamper; his grandmother, Delois “Doe” Buchanan; and his cousin, James David Stamper, who each held a special place in his life and now welcome him into eternal peace.
As we reflect on Shaun’s life, we need to remember how short and fragile life is and to cherish each day we are given. His memory will live on in the minds and hearts of everyone who knew him. Shaun’s story may have reached its earthly end, but for his family who knew and loved him, we will always keep his memories alive in our hearts. Your battle in this life is over Rest in Peace.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday July 17, 2025, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Thursday July 17, 2025, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
