Barbara lived life boldly and creatively. A longtime member of Carlisle Christian Church, she was also involved in the Red Hatters Club, Sunshine Sisters, and the local homemakers club. She was a gifted artisan who found joy in handwoven baskets, crocheted blankets, landscape paintings, and crafting homemade wreaths for every season and reason. As well as her love of sewing she learned from her mother. She loved exploring the country in her RV, especially ‘glamping’’ at the Kentucky Horse Park.
