Mary Helen Collins Fryman

Mary Helen Collins Fryman, 86, passed away on Monday September 15, 2025, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY. Born on October 18, 1938, in Bourbon County, Mary was born to the late Gene Collins and Lonia Soard Watkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James William Fryman.
Mary is survived by her son, William Daryl (Sandra) Fryman; two daughters, Sherrell Gwinn, Dana Lynn (Mark Edwards) Fryman; a stepson, Jimmy Ray Fryman; a sister, Charlotte Sue (Floyd) Baber; grandchildren, Jacqueline Snapp, Tonya C. Jackson, James Carl Fryman; one great grandchild, Abbigale (Steele) Rodgers; special friends, Lois Pridemoore and Joyce Earlywine.
Mary always enjoyed taking care of people, which she did during her years of work at Shadylawn Nursing Home. She enjoyed her family, fur babies and grand fur babies. Mary also loved living in the country and making everyone around her happy. She will be missed by many.
Services for Mary were held at Ware Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. Visitation was held in the hours prior to the service, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Burial followed in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers for Helen were David Conner, Steele Rodgers, Mark Edwards, Jeff Perkins, Bruce Ritchie and Timmy Coldiron.
