Carlos Bravo Mensias, 72, a beloved family man, and a respected farm foreman at Indian Creek Farm, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Lexington, KY. Born on February 9, 1953, in Veracruz, Mexico, he was a beacon of light and positivity to all who knew him. A life marked by laughter and dedication, Carlos’s existence was a testament to the joy and love he brought into the world.
Carlos leaves behind his wife, Alberta Molgado Reyes, and their adored children: Karina, Francisco, Juan, and Isidro Bravo. His partnership with Dez Miles was filled with years of unwavering companionship and mutual respect. Carlos is predeceased by his parents, Julian Bravo Flores and Antonia Mensias De La Luz, whose values and traditions he upheld throughout his vibrant life.
Possessing a natural talent for nurturing growth, Carlos dedicated his professional life to the well-being and development of the foals at Indian Creek Farm. As a foreman, he was revered for his impeccable work ethic and the constant smile that graced his face. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday December 11, 2025, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7PM December 11, 2025, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
