Janet Catherine Withrow Tolson

Janet Catherine Withrow Tolson, 72, of Nicholas County passed from this life on January 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bourbon County on February 10, 1953. Janet was a member of Ruddles Mill Methodist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Harold Wade Tolson, she was ushered into heaven by her Dad and Mom, Thomas and Thelma Withrow and brother Mark.
Surviving is her three children: Katrina Jones of Millersburg, JJ (Amy) Jones of Nicholas County and Jason (Wendy) Jones of Means; two stepchildren: Natasha (Jermaine) Smith of Lady Lake, Florida, Justin (Destiny) Tolson of Mt. Sterling; her grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Tyler) Back of Jeffersonville, Ky, Autumn (Tanner) Sapp of Nicholas County, Sheridan (Jonathon) Fightmaster of Millersburg, Abagayle (Caleb) Fister of Millersburg, Aislynn Campbell, Ariel, Stevie Rae, Cyann and Marianna Smith of Lady Lake, Florida and Justin and Xavier Tolson of Mt. Sterling; and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a twin sister, Judy (Terry) Jolly of Carlisle, a brother, Mike (David) Swartz of Frankfort, several nieces and nephews and other family members, a very special uncle Billy Mann and a faithful friend Martha. The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday January 31, 2026, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Evans and Bro. John Smith officiating with burial following in the Sexton Cemetery, Pomeroyton-Denniston Road, Menifee County.
Visitation is Friday, January 30, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are David Swartz, Keith Smith, Tanner Sapp, Jonathon Fightmaster, Caleb Fister and Tony Barnes.
Honorary bearers are Steven Thornsburg, Tyler Dotson, Darren Bratton and Tim Underwood. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
