Harry Ritchie, Jr.
Harry Ritchie, Jr., age 82, husband of Olivia “Libby” Hampton Ritchie, departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Bourbon Heights with his wife and son by his side. Harry was born in Paris, Kentucky on September 26, 1943, the son of the late Alma Lucille Hicks and Harry Ritchie, Sr., was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University, and had honorably served in his country in the Army Reserves. Along with his professional career where he retired from working at IBM/Lexmark, you would find him enjoying farming, being a member of the Bluegrass Sportsman’s Club, Cynthiana Rod Runners, being active in the Cattleman’s Association, as well as an active member of First Baptist Church of Paris.
In addition to his wife Libby, he is survived by his son, Jay (Angela Carol) Ritchie; two cousins, Connie Whitehead, and Carolyn Shields.
The visitation for Harry Ritchie, Jr. was on Monday, February 16, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. 2026, at First Baptist Church – Paris, with the funeral service at 12 noon with Pastor Kyle Sullivan officiating. Interment followed in Paris cemetery.
