Keith Gerald Patterson

Keith Gerald Patterson 70, transitioned from his earthly walk to life eternal on April 5, 2026, at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington Ky. He was born June 28, 1955, to the late Edward and Belle Washington Patterson in Paris, Ky. Keith was a member of First Baptist Church, 128 west 8th street Paris, Ky and a 1974 graduate of Paris High School. He briefly attended OSU receiving a scholarship in art as he was a gifted artist. During his high school years, he was a member of the 1973 PHS undefeated football state champions. He retired from the University of Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four sisters; Cozene Hawkins, Ruby Kemper, Ella Mae Gross and Joyce Rice; Three brothers, Ronald Patterson, Frank Patterson Sr., and Clifton Patterson.
He leaves three children to cherish his memory, Mike (Lakeitha) Franklin, Keith E. Crumbie, and Marquita (Mike) Johnson; grandchildren, Jamari Franklin, Tanaja Franklin, Mikah Franklin, Destiny Caskey, Adarius Crumbie, Elijah Crumbie, Makaylah Crumbie, TaQuayza Johnson, and Laylah Crumbie. Great- Grandchildren, Khalil Crumbie, ZoeAnna Crumbie, Nova Rayne Larkin Marshall and Braelin Grugin, one sister, Shirley Fields and one brother Shelton R. Patterson; A special friend, Sidonia Embry, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday April 21, 2026, by Rev. Aaron Crumbie at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
Visitation was from 5-6 PM Tuesday April 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
