William Charles Brewer
William Charles Brewer, age 67, passed away on May 20, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1959, in Campton, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a kind spirit that touched the lives of many.
William was the beloved husband of Bonnie Lou Templin Brewer and a devoted father to his children, Stanley Brewer and Jeanie, William Charles Brewer, Jr. and Amber, Willard Brewer and Misty, Jessica Rushford, and Anna Havens and James. He was also a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 9 great-grandchildren. His family was the center of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He is also survived by his brothers, John Brewer and Pam, and Arnold Brewer, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him with love and gratitude.
He was preceded in death by his son, Seldon Brewer; two grandchildren, Russell Brewer and Loretta Brewer; his sister, Deborah Bailey; brother, William Hubert Brewer and parents, Seldon and Kathleen Hatton Brewer. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life, and he carried his family bonds with deep love and respect.
William spent many years working as a construction and heavy equipment operator before retirement. He was known for being dependable, handy, and willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. His strong work ethic and practical skills earned him the respect of those who knew him, and he took pride in doing a job well. He approached life with quiet strength and a steady presence that others could count on.
Outside of work, William enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He especially loved simple moments shared with those closest to him, whether gathered together at home or enjoying time outdoors. He also enjoyed video games, with favorites including 007 James Bond and Tetris. These interests reflected his playful side and the joy he found in both relaxation and companionship.
Those who knew William will remember him as a kind man with a generous heart and a helpful nature. He had a way of making others feel welcome and valued, and his presence brought comfort and warmth to his family and friends. His life was a testament to love, loyalty, and the importance of family, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday May 23, 2026, by Rev. Joe Price at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial followed in the Clintonville Cemetery. Visitation was from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
