Penny Kay Hunt

Penny Kay Hunt, 67, passed away June 6, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Nicholas County September 4, 1958, to the late Jimmy and Janice Scott Howard.
She was retired from Ramset and loved living her life to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband Glenn Hunt, her children Jason Ring (Jenny Gibson) and Tracy (Todd) Myers, her grandchildren, Andrew (Courtney) Ring, Drake Markel (Kelsey Gillispie), Alyssa Ring, Gracelyn Ring, Huntley Myers, Chasen Myers, Allison (Cain) Kilgore, Haley Myers (Justin Colemire), her great-grandchildren Wrenley Markel, Dawson Myers, Harlynn Stoker, Jaxson and Adalynn Kilgore, Her step father Ronnie Sexton, two sisters Ronda (Josh) Hunt and Jamey Howard and her fur babies, Beauty, Biscuit, and Cocoa.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Bobby Thornsburg, her mother and father Jimmy Howard and Janice Sexton, a sister Mary Elizabeth Frederick, and a brother Ronnie Sexton Jr.
A private service for immediate family was held at 1 pm Tuesday June 9, 2026 at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery. Pallbearers were Todd Myers, Josh Hunt, Drake Markel, Huntley Myers, Michael Frederick and Jason Ring. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
