Brian Scott Tucker
Brian Scott Tucker, passed away on June 18, 2026, in Paris, Kentucky, at the age of 47.
He was born on December 18, 1978, in Lexington, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by love for his family, warmth toward those around him, and a personality that was as memorable as it was genuine. Brian carried himself with a quiet strength and a kind spirit, and he will be remembered for the simple joys that brought him happiness and the steady presence he offered to those who knew him best.
Early in life, Brian worked as a security officer and a grounds keeper at Keenland race course, a role that reflected his sense of responsibility and his willingness to work hard. Those who knew him understood that he approached life in his own way, with sincerity and a touch of humor that made him easy to be around. He appreciated the ordinary moments that often become the most cherished memories, and he found contentment in the routines and comforts of daily life.
Brian enjoyed going to Silas Baptist Church, where his presence was appreciated and where he found fellowship and peace. He also enjoyed playing games, a pastime that brought out his playful side and gave him opportunities to share laughter and time with others. He had a fondness for ordering random things from Amazon and the TikTok shop, a habit that reflected his curiosity and his enjoyment of little surprises. He also enjoyed the more than occasional McDonalds order, chicken nuggets or a chicken sandwich without the bun, a detail that many who loved him will remember with a smile.
Brian is survived by his wife, Angela Rose Tucker, who shared in his life and his journey. He is also survived by his father and mother, Crutcher Lee Tucker Jr., known as Doc, and Ella Sue Taylor Tucker of Paris. He leaves behind three brothers and a sister, Robert Lee Tucker and Shelly Fisher, Steve and Misty Tucker, Jonathan and Tosha Tucker, and Jennifer and Kendall Curtis. He also leaves several cherished nieces and nephews, Harley Lynn Tucker, Ashlynn Curtis, Chelsea Tucker, Daniel Corn, Kayla Bilzco, Kristian Hickerson, Madison Back, and Sierra Tucker. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and his memory will live on through the family bonds he helped strengthen.
Brian will be remembered for the love he gave, the relationships he valued, and the everyday moments that defined his life. Though his time on earth has ended, the impact of his presence remains with those who knew and loved him. His family and friends will carry forward the memories of his laughter, his habits, and the unique way he moved through life. In the hearts of those who loved him, Brian will continue to be remembered with affection, gratitude, and enduring love.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 PM Monday June 22, 2026, by Bro. Curtis Coots at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
