Gilbert Thomas Manley

Gilbert Thomas Manley, 82, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in North Middletown, KY, on November 22, 1943, to the late John Epperson and Anna Louise Caywood Manley. Gilbert was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ann McDonald, Iva Miller; and two grandsons, Jeremy Todd Chambers, William Thomas Chambers.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patsy Fee Cole Manley; a son, Jr. (Paula) Manley; daughters, Kim (Wendell) McNabb, Tina (Scotty) Milner, Vicki (James) Chambers; three brothers, William (Lois) Manley, George “Wes” Manley, James Manley; grandchildren, Kris (Sara) Milner, Kayla (Tyler) Hamilton, Jordan (Kristin) McNabb, Jeremy Todd Chambers, William (Kasey Lawson) Chambers, Cara (JD) Kiskaden, Andrew Milner, Austin (Kelsie) Milner, Josh (Deidre) Milner, Drew (Ashley) Manley, Zack (Victoria Gasser) Manley; and 24 great grandchildren. The Manley family would like to give a special thanks to Cara Smith and Leslie Crump.
Gilbert worked at General Motors for 16 years, and retired from 3M after working there for 20 years. Gilbert was a UK Basketball fan and he enjoyed farming throughout the years. He and Patsy loved to camp with their family, and it was always special and fun when the family was all together. Above all, Gilbert adored his grandkids and great grandkids. The family and his friends will miss Gilbert eternally.
Services for Gilbert will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be held the evening prior, also at Ware Funeral Home, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Bro. Terry Parnell and Gilbert’s grandson, Jordan, will lead services. Burial will take place after the service at Pythian Grove Cemetery.
