Marina A. Thompson

Marina A. Thompson passed away peacefully June 30, 2026, at U K Hospital surrounded by her family at the age of sixty-six. She was born in Harrison County December 8, 1959, to the late Ronald and Elsie Morrison Thomas. Marina loved to bake, crochet, music and spending quality time with family.
She is survived by her loving husband Charles ‘Noopie’ Thompson Jr. of forty-two years, a son Daniel (Katie) Gaunce, three daughters Melissa (Raymond Frederick) Gaunce, Brianna (Kris Vrobel) Thompson and Stacey (Terry) Morris. Her grandchildren Destiny Herrington, Travis Pulliam, Adrian ( Kim) Pulliam, Derik ( Maddy) Morris, Megan ( Kalvin) Pulliam ,Courtney ( Kyle) Lainhart, Dalton Morris, Alicia Gaunce, Dustin Sowder, Shelby Pulliam, Sierra Gaunce, Christopher Nolan and Ellie Morris, thirteen great-grandchildren, two brothers Ronald Earl ‘Butch’ Thomas and Michael Lynn Thomas, one sister Betty Parker Thomas, a special friend she considered as a sister Jane ( Allen) Richardson, also several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Ronald and Elsie Thomas, a sister Laura Elizabeth Thomas, a brother Randall Eugene Thomas and a nephew Joshua Lynn Stanfield.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the family’s convenience. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
