Marilyn Curtis Beall

Marilyn Curtis Beall, 80, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on August 3, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1945, in Maysville, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by devotion to her family, steady support for those she loved, and a warm appreciation for the simple joys that brought people together.
Marilyn was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and aunt whose presence brought comfort and strength to those around her. She spent much of her life as an assistant to her husband in the dental equine business, where her dependable nature and willingness to help made her an important part of the work and the life built around it. She approached her responsibilities with quiet dedication and took pride in being someone others could count on.
Family was at the center of Marilyn’s life. She is survived by her son, Mark Beall; her siblings, Carroll Curtis, Barbara Brumagen, Wendell Curtis, and Larry Curtis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Curtis and Isabell Curtis; her husband, Charles Beall; her son, Michael Beall; and her siblings, Helen Barnett and Ronald Curtis. The bonds she shared with her family were deep and enduring, and her love for them was evident in the way she lived each day.
Marilyn had a spirited love for sports and enjoyed following the Reds and the Bengals. She loved watching sports all the time and especially enjoyed horse racing, an interest that reflected both her enthusiasm and her appreciation for the excitement and tradition of the sport. These interests brought her joy and gave her many conversations and memories shared with others over the years. She also attended Piqua Christian Church and Hume Road Christian Church.
Those who knew Marilyn will remember her as a woman of loyalty, kindness, and steady presence. She carried herself with grace and remained connected to the people and things that mattered most to her. Her life was one of devotion to family, hard work, and the pleasures of everyday living, and she will be remembered with affection by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Marilyn Curtis Beall’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her life touched many, and her legacy of love, support, and enduring family ties will not be forgotten.
Visitation was from 4-5 PM Tuesday August 11, 2026, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel.
