Matthew Ryan Tipton

Matthew Ryan Tipton, of Paris, departed this life much too early, at the young age of 36, having been born on August 24, 1989, in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Kristine Smits and the late James R. Tipton, Jr. Matthew was a graduate of Georgetown College majoring in History with a minor in Asian History, was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, loved to read, loved history, and worked at Paris Machine Shop as a forklift driver.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by Kristine’s significant other, Tim Stacy; aunts, Charlene “Sis” Gilvin, Rebecca (Jeremy) Havens; and cousins, Brooklyn and Maddie Havens.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John O. and Beverly Smits, and his father, James R. Tipton, Jr.
